Barnwood is a mix of Pine, Fir, and Spruce (Pinus, Abies, Picea) reclaimed from buildings across Northern Europe. Its natural knots create a rustic look, and its colour comes from years of natural ageing, revealed after the weathered surface is brushed and cleaned. Brushing also enhances the grain’s texture. Over time, exposure to the elements will allow the cladding to develop a silver-grey patina as it re-weathers. | 8-14% | 360-460 kg/m3 | Class 3 & 4: Moderately/Slightly Durable | Small / Medium | Stainless Steel and End Grain Sealer. |
