Ember Oak is created from mixed grades of our European oak, typically featuring small to medium-sized knots that appear fairly regularly, creating a light characterful finish. Due to its tight grain, it brushes differently from most other species, accentuating the grain direction while creating a flatter surface and texture compared to larch. The charring process turns the timber deep blacks and browns, which can slightly camouflage the knots. | 14-22% | 650-850 kg/m3 | Class 2 / 3: Durable/ Moderately Durable | Medium | Stainless Steel |
