Handhewn is a cladding product made from Spruce and Pine (Picea & Pinus), which has been reclaimed from buildings across Northern Europe. It has regularly occurring knots and a pronounced grain that give it a distinctly traditional and rustic character. Its colour is completely natural, developed over years of aging. During production, the weathered outer layer is hand-hewn and cleaned, revealing the rich tones beneath. Over time, exposure to the elements will make the timber to re-weather, gradually developing a silver-grey patina. | 8-14% | 300-560 kg/m3 | Class 3 & 4: Moderately/Slightly Durable | Small / Medium | Stainless Steel and End Grain Sealer. |
