Grown in the UK, Parkland Cedar is a fast-growing

timber with a wide grain, varied growth pattern, and a

consistent pale red colour highlighted by lighter streaks.

It is less dense than its Canadian cousin, despite being

a very stable unmodified product, and features more

frequent knots, giving it a naturally rustic character.

Parkland Cedar also weathers evenly over time and offers a much lower carbon impact due to being locally sourced.

Produced from from a mix of grades of British Western Red Cedar; a characterful appearance, with an open and varied grain that often shows spirals, waves, and wide growth rings, along with frequent knots. Its open texture makes it particularly well-suited to brushing, which enhances the grain and creates a distinctive, textural finish. Parkland Cedar typically displays a soft pinkish-brown tone, with cream or pale yellow sapwood streaks.
